New Ram Owner
Made the switch last night. Been driving Gm trucks since 1999, finally decided to do something different. Got rid of my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 ecsb, for a 2014 Ram 1500 'Black Edition' express, single cab. So far i love it. Not terribly loaded out but does have the anti spin rear diff, and a factory spray in bedliner. I'll post some pics later on. But its a bad *** truck, the hemi is a beast, can't wait to add the exhaust, vararam air grabber intake, and get the windows tinted. I know i'll have other plans just gotta get it all figured out, didn't walk out of the deslership til after 9 last night.

6-speed auto. I just can't get into that rotary shift ****. I had wanted one for a few years now, my wife kept making me get the bigger extended or crew cab trucks. I miss my little single cab. Wife told me earlier this year that she no longer is into me, and wants a divorce, so now I have no one to swat my hand and tell me NO, This one is going to get nasty cause I have very little self control when it comes to my trucks, lol.....
As I picked it up Monday night right after detail. I'll get more pics but the weather sucks right now.

Sorry to hear about that. Even if you hate her it's not easy. That said, this guy fckin nailed it.
As far as the shift ****... I'll admit I like it. I like all the room it saves. And even if I didn't is likely make that sacrifice to get an 8 speed. Not to downplay your purchase at all.
I didn't realize dodge had a 6 speed in their trucks. I thought they were the 5 speed with a split 2nd gear... Or is that what you're referring to?

They call it a 6 speed now, on acceleration it hits 2nd gear split. You can manual select it too. Still basically a 5 speed.
