Bump!! Looking back on my original question it doesn't make much sense. Doing research I found that the CFM/exhaust flow rate for 3in straight pipe is 598. Building a performance rig you want as much flow as possible, so the closer to 598 the better. My muffler has a cfm of 470, but noticed noone has the flow rate for stock exhaust systems. I am leaning towards s muffler swap...I feel its my weakest link. I have longtubes, 3in ORY, and 3in custom piping dumping at the axle. Does any have an answer to my question or a alternative to my 3in Cherry Bomb Pro muffler? Thanks

CFM is measured using a flow bench. A flow bench produces a steady, low temperature stream of air and lacks the acoustical and thermal dynamics that are produced by an internal combustion engine. For that reason a CFM rating isn't much of an indicator of muffler performance.
