ditch the whole system and spend the $350 to buy a 4in turbo back system. When I first got my truck i took it to a muffler shop and had them strait pipe it cost about $50 but I had to go bigger within 3 months due to the egts being too high. next thing to do is get a donaldson air filter or wix or what ever (BHAF) and lose the stock air box part number for the filter is: 2790 that is a napa part #

Not only will you increase power you will see an increase in your MPG too! not to mention it has proven to make turbos last longer because of decreased exuahst temps(egts) if you dont plan on doing alot to the truck you would problably be fine with just straight pipe but if you plan on doing other things that will increase EGTS you definatly want to start with at least 4" or 5" if you really plan on making your truck a beast!
