How hard is it to find...

A RCSB 2500? Do they even exist, I dont like crew cabs or extended, and long beds just look weird on a regular cab truck.

From my knowledge, 2500 chassis only came in a long bed...i think your SOL

Possible to find a SB from a 1500 and swap it over if I wanted to?

you'll have to section about 1.5 feet out of the frame, not to mention moving the bed mounts to line up correctly

shorten the driveshaft and fuel lines/electrical

if it has the 34 gal tank it cant be used w/ a short bed (not enough room between cab and axle)

i had a buddy shorten the frame of a super duty like you're talkin about, it's pretty slick. only regular cab short bed diesel i'd ever seen. phucker's fast too. so it is possible.

edit: the extended cab's bed is the same length as one off an rcsb by the way.
