Default converting a dually to a single rear-wheel?

'02 3500 4x4 ECLB 6spd HO cummins dually sport package (painted bumpers and crap) and 62k on the odometer, showroom quality inside and out, the former owner (now deceased) was a close friend, and his parents (much older couple) are just asking for payoff of $12,500.
its pretty much my dream truck, minus the dually part..

aside from selling it for a SRW 2500 just like it, what's it take to convert a DRW truck to a SRW?

I know a ford superduty has spacers that can be removed in the front, and new hubs for the rear is all thats needed. are dodges similar?

I know I'll need new wheels, and a SRW bed, but what else is there to it?

im almost 100% sure also that the axle tubes are shorter. You should put a post up for that axle in the for sale and maybe trade someone that wants to go to a dually rear end

There was a guy in my home town in the early 90's that put dually flares and axle under a 1/2 ton regular cab and called it The Phantom Dually. He actually built several but eventually went to a true dually platform and still droped on the wide rear meat.

This might be his first build
