2008 6.7L cummins
I just bought a 2008 6.7L cummins crew cab saturday and I was just curious to know where the blockheater plug in is. It says it should be on pass. side and i've had the headlight out the air box out and all the covers off stuff and its no where to be found. Is there a chance they forgot to put it in. I can't imagine a diesel not having one. I am just trying to find it for the winter so i know where its at.
Thanks

You have to buy it aftermarket and it just plugs in to the block. Its an option from the factory but dodge tends to leave it off most of the trucks. its like a 12$ option on a brand new truck or to go buy through dodge its like 90. You can find it on ryders website or on other websites on the web for under 20 bucks tho.

The block heater is in the block just under the exhaust manifold and behind the oil filter. That is if the oil filter is in the same place as on the 5.9
You will just have to get a cord to plug into the block heater and run to the front of the truck.
