I have a 89 Chevy 1500 with a 5.7L V8 and i was wondering what transmission it has on it and ideas?

Do the Stage 2 do not do the stage 1 you wont be happy trust,but if i was you spend so more money and get the transgo kit.

Yea i installed the stage 1 because ppl were saying the stage 2 wasnt really for dd because of the hard shifts,but they are not that hard but they are very firm but i killed my neck when i did the .500 boost valve,vette servo,stage 2 shift kit.i used to chirp 3.
