Something followed me home...

My green and white 72 Cheyenne was stolen April of 2006 and never recovered, finally got around to starting over. It's a 1972 Cheyenne Super, 350/350 for now. Needs some minor cosmetic stuff and a carb rebuild (or replace if I feel lazy) and it will be a nice cruiser and eventually who knows...

I like it! What are the plans?

Wow, that looks like a clean truck. Body doesn't look too abused from the pictures I can see. I really like the ochre / white paint combo. That should make a nice ride.

Thats clean. I had a blue and white one, it was totaled by my brother.

Plans right now are clean it up and drive it as it. I'm getting rid of the points and 2bbl and going with a 4bbl and HEI. Other than that it runs great, I took it to dinner tonight and aside from being a fat guy in the south with no A/C is was great. :) Here's a couple more from today....

i love these trucks. if i would have known that mine was going to snowball into what it did, i would most definetly have started with one of these! i had a 1969 camper special. that truck was a beast, dual batteries, 8 lug, 1ton springs, etc...........

Very very nice old truck. Looking at the interior picture makes me think it was either swapped in or dude who spec'ed out the truck when it was new was a Packers fan. I'd rock that thing as is, I think it's perfect.

I like it, I like it a lot. I'm with you, I'd do what was needed to keep it running and drive it as is.

That, and slam it would be my only mod for a while if I owned it.
