Question regarding water in transmission

I was checking out the cooler line option though I don't have clear access to that part of the transmission it would seem the previous owner may of placed an extension on the line that I might be able to tap into. (could also just be a bandage for a broken line)

Wonder if I can use the side that is attached to the radiator instead and just funnel it through some tubing using a 3/8th fitting in place of the outflow line.

Radiator end would be easiest and most beneficial
