Default Needing Help/Advice/Input On My 79 Sierra

My dad's had this 1979 High Sierra since 1980. I'll keep this thread running with pics and updates.

Here's what I need help with....

What years/models can be direct swaps? For like bumpers and parts and what not

Do they make tonneau covers for these models? I'm wanting a low pro cover if they even make them....? A hard paintable one. Not really wanting those covers that fold up.

What do you guys think about the chrome molding? I'm kinda torn. It will flow well with the chrome wheels I'm gonna put on it. But it will be clean without theme.

Gonna look at some pics to see options on grills

The trucks getting repainted in a couple weeks. It's been sitting for about 4 years. I'm not sure the paint code it was originally (dark grey) but I'm repainting it basically the same color. A newer dark Grey with metallic flake.

Putting a motor in it out of 1 of my dad's race cars, not sure on the specs, but I'll update that when we get it in our shop.
