I've got a L33 in the mail and plan on putting it in my 98 truck...was just wondering what all i need to get it up and running? i'd like to pull the swap off in a weekend, so i'm stockpiling all the parts ahead of time.
Obviously i need the engine, throttle pedal, TAC module/harness, motor mounts, exhaust will need done....i guess i need electric fans too and some sort of cold air intake or factory air box...adapters/fittings for the fuel system...Power steering seems to be simple to hookup...
What do i need in the way of wiring? is there a plug and play adapter harness or anything? i'm not a fan of wiring ordeals....i've found mixed results when i search for this, it seems like some people completely re-wire everything and it ends up being a mess, while some people seem to just stuff everything in there and it all just works
i've done multiple searches and just haven't found satisfying results.
i have HP Tuners so disabling the VATS and tuning out various things won't be a problem.
Thanks for any help guys,
Ben

Forgot to mention it's a 2wd truck and that i'm wanting to keep the original transmission in, which just requires a certain flexplate with a spacer and longer bolts from what i understand.
Are people using the S&P or Nelson harnesses because they just don't have oem engine harnesses or what? i don't see the need for an aftermarket harness?
