Thanks.

I know its an old thread but I bought an 05 lq4 out of a Denali with only 56k 6 months ago.... actually the day before my daughter was born. Soo it has been sitting waiting until I can make some free time to start the swap which has started.

If anyone is interested in the 454 or whipple let me know they are for sale and will be out of the truck soon.

As an update: Whipple is sold. 454 is on the market still and currently just sitting in the engine bay held in by the mount bolts ready to be pulled. I am finishing up getting a serious parts list together so I can start ordering.

For Christmas the wife got me the cam and cam cover I needed so that's a start but there's still a lot left to go.

I am still going back and forth as to what turbos/wga's I want to go with. Plus I added that I want to convert the truck to AWD to my plate. All this research is going to drive me nuts but I am trying to do as much as I can with the time I have being a new Dad.

Here's a pic of my crew helping me disassemble the truck.

Engine waiting to be pulled.

Cam under the tree.

Thanks.

I picked up a 2000 Escalade cluster on Thursday. It was a salvage yard find so its just sitting with the pile of parts to be installed.

I'm chipping away at my shopping list and got in some stuff from Lingenfelter yesterday. I also ordered the turbos yesterday and they should be in early next week. I should get in my NVG149 AWD Transfer Case today. Going slowly but we are getting there. I will post some pics as I get more.

Here are some pics of the 6.0 fully disassembled. I am bringing it up to my shop to do bearings, clean it down and detail it.
