Default 92 silverado a/c compressor

I also have a 92 silverado and I installed a 94 silverado A/C compressor on it. Thing is there 2 plugs on the compressor one in front and one on the back. The 92 has only 1 wire on it so I spliced it and wired the other 2 connectors to the same wires. It didn't work out. Any one know how I can wire this?

Your 92 has two wires (one connector) for the clutch, the connection right behind the pulley.

The compressor from the 94 has a high pressure switch in the back of the compressor. You can leave it unplugged on the 92 as it has no provision for it.

In other words, leave the wiring as it was originally.

Alright thank you. I'll remove the back splicing today.

Compressor isn't engaging at all still. Maybe low freon?
