Default 90' 3/4 ton K5 Blazer 5.3 swap

Well I bit the bullet and decided on swapping in a 5.3 out of an 04 tahoe. I got the engine from BD turnkey engines. The guy is putting an ls6 cam and valve springs and a custom tune on it. He is also modifying the wiring harness to work in ny truck. The only things I need is the trans adapter, efans, fuel pump, and exhaust. Here is my problem. I have a 700r4 trans, and can't afford a 4l60, so has anyone mounted the tv cable from the trans to the gas pedal assembly?

Anyways here is the truck the engine is going in. 1990 k5 blazer built by World Famous 4x4 in Burbank California. They did the axle swap, lift, bumpers, sliders, roof rack and paint. Once I got it I started on the interior with power leather heated seats out of an 04 silverado, I also installed a stereo system and made new back side panels. With all those addition my truck weighs in at 6,000 lbs! The truck still had the original engine, 5.7 350 tbi with 206k. Needless to say it was way underpowered. So that's where I'm at! If anyone has cats from a 2004 tahoe they want to get rid of let me know!

Saw this on ck5.com its a sweet truck you got, no doubt. Any reason for not going with a 6.0?

Thanks! And I picked a 5.3 over a 6.0 only because of MPG as this is my DD. also, with the ls6 cam and tune in it its pushing 360 hp

Update!!

The engine is now in my garage! I gotta get all the little stuff now like fans, fuel pump, air intake, cats, and some other little things. But the bulk of it is here!

Also, my 700r4 went out last week... but its still under warrenty! I'm thinking about getting it fixed and selling it and getting a 4l60e
