89 chevy 350 tbi to carb swap need help
 
Hey everyone I have a 89 chevy single cab stepside with built 350 tbi I was thinkin about switch to carb but not sure on the procedure on doin the swap everything I think is pretty much ready I have the earlyer model 202 dart iron eagle heads and 2101 elderbrock intake main. I'm not sure about what to do as far as wiring Goes if enyone has eny ideas please let me know Ty.

The easiest way would be by installing a regular HEI distributor and a fuel pressure regulator if you plan on keeping the intake fuel pump. Other than that, it is a fairly simple affair, especially since you already have an intake that will accept a carburetor. A lot of people just mount the fuel pressure regulator to the firewall.

Ty u 1bear I wasn't sure cuz of the computer and all that I herd that the sensors on the tbi will mess with the transmission as far as tps sensor cuz it helps control the shifting but the 700r4 doesn't have electronic shift points

If he has a th400 it will affect the kickdown function, make sure on the 700 to get the tv cable adjusted out right.
