Default 86 gmc 8 lug wheel fitment?

hey guys i wasnt quite sure where to post this but i was just wondering if anyone knew if the stock set of wheels from my 08 silverado 2500 would fit my 86 gmc? they are kinda beat so i dont want to waste my time digging them out and putting tires on them for it if they wont fit rite.

They bolt right on. Lots of square body 2wd's up here ran around with the PYO's on them.

yes the newer 8 lug rims will fit the older trucks, however the older truck rims will often not fit the newer trucks, they run into the front brake calipers but the bolt pattern is the same even if the truck came with 16" rims originally...
