6.0 & 2wd 4l80e into OBS: Header Questions

I am almost done doing everything I can before I actually try to fit it all in.

I was going to order the Schoenfield Conversion Headers....
But then I read b/c I am going 2wd instead of 4wd...I can use NBS headers...

My truck was orignally 4wd but I ditched the transfer case and front drive shaft.

What is the best Long tube header out there for a decent price?

Do you have the torison bars still in there?

foreverfalcon40 10-17-2012 04:19 PM

yes, I still have the torsion bars in there.

I test fit a set of 99-06 headers on my 89 with the 5.3 in it. Wouldnt work. They hit the frame before they would even sit flat on the head.

You might be able to use a 4th gen F body header.

Their work is top notch! Just can't justify spending 1k in headers. They make non-conversion headers for the OBS, work of art and out of my price range. Thanks for the link.

Well today is Friday aka pay day and I can't find the *uckers!

I only came across there 2wd models! YELP!

any have access to a wiring diagram for the ls swap to 411 PCM?

They only make 2wd ones. If you take the front diff out you should be ok.
