epic fail....6 broken pushrods and several other bent ones. I'll pull the heads tomorrow and check out the lifters/cam damage.

 

Gonna be looking at some piston/valve damage too.

That should tell you, Whoever put the cam in had the marks off.

 

Yup bent most of the valves in my brand new heads. found all the broken pushrods, pistons just have light markings so i think i'm safe there. I'm leaving sunday for work for the next three months so I guess this project is on hold till my return. I'm pissed and have considered parting the truck but i guess time will tell.

 

I would stick with it not like its going anywhere and you'll enjoy it when its fixed
