I got a 2000 GMC 5.3 4x4 with not much done yet. Im in N.W. Indiana for work. Im almost done up here then im going back to Alabama. Im a road dog millwright. I travel around doing shutdowns on steel mills and other mills. I also got a 89 RX7 im getting ready to do a LS1 swap to it when I get home. And I got a 05 Saturn Redline that was pushing 450hp until I broke the crank. Saturn Motor Sports told me it was good to 700hp but I guess not. Anyway here is some pictures of my truck.

Well, that def. narrows down what track you'd be at. Or not at. Sounds like their misfortune is your work. It's a lil cooler here than Alabama tho.

That Saturn sounds like a bad piece. Just right for waxing...
I like that last pic. Pissin the neighbors off, doin a smoky in the drive after a wash.

OK, here's the deal. I started this post some time ago. Lately, I've been hearin a June or July date being kicked around. What is the date that is being tossed around? It's no secret I think my trans is on the way out. Between that, gas $4+/g, & havin my hours @ job increase/ gettin goofy, it's important to have an idea of a date/ who would go. Even if I can't race, I'd hang w/ my PT bros.

So, Onyx or others, try to nail down a date. Those that can go, will go, undecided- post or go to a poll.
I want to start a poll to see what track works for most. Others could be added. Post on if I left out. Some I don't know.

Poll: -
-Milan
-Ubly
-Lapeer
-US131

I'm not sure if Mid Mich Motorplex is same as US131, IIRC correctly it was also called Stanton. I want( prefer) 1/4 tracks.

US131 is also called Knoll Gas Motorsports Park or Martin Dragway. I prolly couldn't do that on my best day. ~3hrs from me. MMM is a bit less, not much.
RX call 131 other. Besides listed, for other tracks than 131, please post up track name for all to see. Next yr, I'd like to go to Norwalk. I hear some incredible times come from there. Excellent track prep.

I dicked up. I could've voted for Ubly too. Those r only tracks I've been too. Detroit( But long shut down & developed...) I'd consider Lapeer too.

I just haven't been to others, but when trans is fixed, I'll be more ballsy!

That would be it. It works but its not great. I think Zippy runs there sometimes so....

Another reason I dislike Harleys. lol
