So the Speed Density would be like the opposite of using a wide-band I'm guessing?

For a speed density tune I believe he will use a wideband to adjust the fuel control tables to be as accurate as possible so the use of the maf and O2's isn't needed any longer. I'm still learning this stuff and I will probably look at and SD tune with my Hp Tuners once I have a wideband and more knowledge.

Oh ok I see, so u disable the MAF and O2 sensor's "information" that goes to the PCM I assume?

YEP...i have PID selection in the scantool that i use and it auto tunes the VE table..via a wideband..once im using that table i will drive it on the dyno at part throttle cruising speeds and WOT to hit all the tables in the VE tableand it creates a map and i take that and multiply it to the ve table and it corrects the ve table.....so at light throttle and cruise i can seto your air fuel ration from 14.6 to 15.7 at cruise and get you killer gas mileage and right as you mash into the gas it goes to 12.8 air fuel ratio...sorry im not that good at explaining things on the computer once you get the truck on the dyno i can show you everything im doing

Well heck I'm tempted to do it myself now. If I could get up to 20mpg on the hwy that'd be shweet...any guesstimate on price?
