1985 Honda ATC 70 3-Wheeler
This is a 1985 Honda ATC 70 3-wheeler. I don’t know the full history on it, but do know that it was running fine when put into storage 5 years ago. The gas was drained before it was put up so the tank appears to be in really good shape (important on these because they are metal tanks). Here is a list of things that I know for sure that the bike needs:
Recoil starter
Throttle Cable
Shifter Lever
Rear Brakes – as it sits right now the rear brakes are locked up
The bike is in fairly good condition and is complete minus the small items above. The front fender does have some marks on it from hitting the motor in the full right and left turn position. The tires appear to hold air (I believe these are the original tires).
There is somewhat of a cult following for these bikes with the 1985 being the most sought after as it was the last year produced and the only one with a 4 speed transmission with the gear selection being “up” on the foot lever. I originally intended to do a full resto on it for a pit bike but don’t have the time and need it out of the way. There is also a good possibility that this bike would make a great “part out” project if that is what you desire.
I’m located in Pearland, just South of Houston and would be willing to drive up to 100 miles one way for delivery. I’m asking $750 but will entertain offers and possible trades. Don’t be bashful……..all I can do is tell you no. I’m available anytime via email at travis_wenske@yahoo.com or via cell/text at 7135535136.
Thanks for looking. If you have questions……ask away.

Man I love these little wheelers. I had one like it as a kid. I did pass it by the wife to pick this one up for my daughter but I got shot down promptly. I've already got an '86 250 four trax collecting dust. Good luck with selling it. Those things still bring solid money in good shape like that one.

I had one of these about 10 years ago, I think it was a 90 though. It was a gift from my Father in Law. He actually bought it new in 85. I remember the recoil starter was ALWAYS messing up. I got tired of buying new cord for it so I just started using straight up rope. It was a pain in the *** to wind up the pull cord and get it all back together without the spring popping out. But when it was running good, the thing was a beast. I drove it through some soupy mud and went right through it. I was following my Father in Law who was on his Kawasaki ATV, and he sunk straight down in that mud because the Kawasaki weighs so much more. He had to put it in 4wd and sling mud everywhere to get through that mud hole, while I just cruised right across the top of it.
Sadly, the 3 wheeler was stolen out of my backyard. Some bastards cut a hole in the chain link fence and then cut the 1/2 inch braided steel cable that I had locking the thing up.
Those things are really fun, I wish I had the money to mess with it. But I'm broke as fawk and I don't even have a shed or garage to store it in. Good Luck With the Sale man.

I'm gonna move forward and fix the little things wrong with it and get it running. I've had lots of interest as they seem to sell good here.
I really want to keep it and do a no expense spared pit bike build but I just don't have the funds for that right now.
I'm flexible on the price but won't give it away. Thanks for the comments guys.
