Hey,
Newer member here in Calgary. After a few months of searching I recently picked up an 89 GMC RCSS as a drivable summer project! One of the first things I need to do is get it tuned so it will run properly - it's got quite a few modifications done to the engine (bored to 355, 10:1 compression, edelbrock aluminum heads, holley EFI, Cam, and bolt ons) and is still running on the stock tune. Any recommendations on a good local tuner/chip burner for TBI?
Figured my first stop should be here in the Alberta Thread!
Thanks,
Drue
I don't know about Calgary tuners, but Richter Performance Modifications in Lethbridge is pretty damn good, if you travel south at all let me know and i can hook you up with colin's number, best $400 i ever spent
Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to keep that in mind if I don't have any luck here in Calgary.
Got the truck out of the shop today...figured I'd toss a before and after up in here as well! Still a long ways to go but progress is progress!
Looks good man! Progress is progress no matter how little or slow, hell I was getting compliments on mine this weekend and it's just debadged, tinted, chrome deleted and 3/5 drop on stock wheels/tires lol. it's the little things that make the most difference usually, look forward to seeing your build come along!
Update number two! Now sitting at 3/5, and the truck went in for some insurance related paint recently (big windstorm at the gravel pit i work at, lots of chips) so I figured i'd finally color match the chrome pieces that I originally plastidipped. Hoping to order a trutrac soon, and after the snow finishes up i'll add shackles and adjust the struts to 4/6 and start the turbo process!
