Spag Bol - meal of champions
Maybe "meal of champions" is a bit of an exaggeration..but it's amazing what you can whip up with some ground beef, tomatoes, beef stock, capsicum, carrot, garlic and onion...
Here's the recipe.
1. Cut the onion fine and cook it in a pan on the cooktop, combined with a green capsicum until it's almost transparent...(the capsicum should be soft)
2. Add the garlic (1 clove, cut finely)
3. Add the carrot (1 carrot grated)
Cook for a few more minutes.
In another frypan, fry the ground beef until it's 95% cooked.
Combine both the meet and the onion/capsicum/carrot/garlic mixtures together.
Add 2 cans of diced tomatoes.
Add some pepper, a little beef stock, and cook for 20 mins stirring occasionally.
Thats it, works a charm every time...darn cheap too!
