Default Breakfast Beers - Texas craft or otherwise

So we're hosting some family this Sunday for Mother's Day, and my wife wants to do mimosas for everyone. Well... mimosas ain't my thing. I'd rather have a nice brew in my hand

So, anybody have a favorite breakfast beer to suggest? I really enjoy the growing Texas craft beer community, but I'll certainly look at anything as long as it has a good review.

I've done Martin House's Daybreak in the past, and it's pretty good.

Lemme hear what ya got!

craft beers usually taste like donkey **** to me. good ol' miller lite for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even better, crown on the rocks.

Haha I gotcha. Some "craft" beers are pretty far out there and not my style, but some are pretty delicious. I'd tell you, though, I'd definitely be up for whiskey pretty much any time of day. More of a straight bourbon fan, myself. Most often served neat.

Sam adams summer ale is my go to beer all summer. If I want something a little lighter and more refreshing I go for Sam Adams Porch Rocker, but I can only drink 1 or 2 of those at a time.

I can honestly say I never knew there was a Bud Light Apple iteration. If I'm going to drink a Budweiser, I'm just gonna drink the real deal.

Mmmm I just looked up that Founder's Breakfast Stout, and it looks mighty delicious. I'll have to look for that one next time.

For this past Sunday, I perused the local Spec's the day prior for anything that jumped out at me. I saw Dogfish Head had one called Beer for Breakfast Stout, so I picked up the 6-pack. Honestly, it was alright. Nothing really to write home about. Kind of doesn't do the Dogfish Head name justice, but I know it's not really their main thing.
