Just did an oil change and air filter change (175K miles). Installed the AC Delco A1618C and it looks like the pictures above. Im not expecting anything magical but I do feel good about having a fresh air filter after 40K miles on the last one.

I replaced my filter with a WIX 46678 (duramax style) and it seems to be louder. Not sure if it is or not, but the whistle of airflow seems to be worse than before lol. I didn't mind the extra noise after changing from the baffled stock intake tube to the AIRAID M.I.T. it had a bit more whistle/whoosh, but this filter seems like a higher pitch/louder whistle and it isn't really pleasing to the ears. I would have to put the old filter back in to make sure though... My other filter is the regular HD style (many pleats) and I had never changed it since I owned the truck.

Can't tell any performance difference. Just my feedback on it.
