Ppl flat out lie about mileage...it helps their dick size.

You take a full trip to and back and use total not the high side of the trip.

Big enclosed trailers are hard to tow with fuel economy, to many variables will skew the number...

I think with the oil burners claiming mileage many other factors are at play. 6k lbs of what? A 5th wheel travel trailer? A flatbed loaded with sheet metal? Tons of other factors to keep in mind.

I'm sure that's part of the reason why I get pretty good milage with my SC 6.0. My truck is kind of my baby and my boat is my other baby.... When they are hooked together I take it pretty easy because I don't like things bouncing and taking heavy jars while towing... Just trying to take it easy on the stuff. If I want too get there sooner, I'll just leave a little earlier instead of beating stuff up on the way.

I wish that wasnt as true as it is. But i have friends with identical trucks to mine and friends with diesels that are identical but everyone seems to come up with a ~5 mpg difference between setups. (or more)

What's the issue with the iats? Is the heat exchanger not sufficient?

a pd setup never had cool Iats compared to a turbo or centrif blower

youll have the racers that carry 5 lbs of ice between rounds saying their iats are cool but that isnt with you towing

theres a reason why turbos are used to put in work on trucks

I tow with my MP112 on occasion. I am running about 8 lbs of boost and am cammed and stalled. Towing is effortless and I haven't had any issues. A Maggie won't make any difference in your unloaded gas mileage; gas mileage when heavily loaded will suck regardless.

Got an update...
The install of the Lsa supercharger took longer than expected, but overall not to bad. Went with a 217/233 .553/.553 117+4.5 cam. Truck has been at the tuner for a week now. They did the wfo tuning on the dyno and now I'm waiting for them to work on the power enrichment. Because the truck is so new they couldn't access that portion of the pcm, they were waiting on an update from HP tuner. But anyway, w/ 5.5psi and 16* of timing it made 440rwhp @6500 and 420rwtq. cant remember what rpm the torque was at. But should get the truck back next week and see how it feels.
