Thanks guys for the suggestions. I think for now I'll add the LS6 springs with the new cam. I'm also going to use my 317 heads at this point. After reprogramming, if I try to run the 6.0L injectors will I have to get it retuned for bigger injectors later? The torque converter upgrades could work for someone, but I have a NV4500 manual transmission so those are out for me. The turbo mods are intriguing, but I don't know enough about them to go down that road. Maybe I'll consider a turbo if I don't see the improvement I'm looking for. It is nice to see reliable turbo builds. That was a concern of mine.

Yea you will need a retune for the larger injectors.
I have a Isky 212/218 in a LQ4 in my z71 tahoe and it does ok but if you ever get to experience a little boost, it will change everything for you.

So should I go with 8.1L injectors or the L59 Flex Fuel injectors? Is one preferred over the other? It looks like the L59 might flow more if needed later. Anyone have a part number for the L59 injector? I want to make sure I get the right one if that's the suggested route. Thanks again guys for your guidance.

Depends on what your future goals are. Work towards that.
If all your going to do is that small cam then the 8.1L injectors will work. If your going full bolt ons then it wouldnt hurt to find some L59 flex fuel injectors.
