Truck has 4.10s. And I've done all the small things, that the problem lol.

With that 4l80 you probably need 4.56, if not 4.88 gears...

Amazing how all the little stuff adds up, if i had to do it all over again, i would probably have put a blower on my truck years ago.... Was working at a hummer dealer and had opportunity to buy a new package with blower injectors ecm etc for something like 2600 and passed on it...

Haha well, thats throwing on a used blower and not really pushing it and none of the secondary mods.

I wish I had the opportunity for that blower lol. Should I do a combo of converter and gears or one or the other

You can have a turbo and still use it as a truck, I plow and tow with mine. However if I could do it again I'd do a supercharger. So much easier to put together and more torque.

If you dont have the cash for a supercharger put in a cam and a converter, but the converter may not like towing depending on the size. I still have a stock converter but there's no doubt Id run faster times if I had a higher stall.

I already have the cam, if I could get my 0-30 zone faster ID be set. Past that it's quick

That's the exact setup I want for my 2500hd. Did you loose or gain torque?
