The notorious cam question
 

I'm sure there is a thread for this so feel free to just to point me in the direction of that thread. Otherwise I have a 2002 crew cab 2500 4x4 with long tube headers and true dual 3" exhaust. I'm looking to gain some performance but not at the expense of low end torque because I do pull a load with this truck on a regular basis. Is there a cam other than stock that is good for heavy trucks to make more midrange power? Any knowledge is much appreciated thanks!

Best across the board power of any cam

Something like that is a good option. Do you have a preference on idle quality? An even earlier ICL than the Vinci cam will make it more snappy.

I drive it in stop and go traffic on a regular basis so I need it to idle decent.
