Every set of 235/85/16's I've ever had looked way bigger than the average 265/75/16, so it's a nice tall tire profile, while still providing great traction with a smaller contact patch.

I'd love to have 255/85/16's though, having said that, but they are harder to get and are higher priced because of that.

best thing i did for mileage was my tune, picked up 35hp iv also got tc overdrive and tc lock up coming in at around 35mph under 30% throttle. the truck just glides up to speed and is not wasting energy with the loose stall in the 2500. however when i need to get into it. she unlocks and flies awayyyy

Ya, I hear ya on that. I just got myself a set of em in M55's and lovin them so far. You can actually steer in snow drifts, lol. But the $296 a tire was a bit hefty, I thought. And that was roll-out-the-door price, I put em on myself.

I would love it if my ccsb 2500 got 15-16. City mines around 10-12 depending and i hardly drive on the highway. I'd like to trade it in for something more economical, but what's the fun in that...

in all reality these trucks will never be good on gas lol 6.0 4l80E and 14 bolts not gonna happen. we could all just stop spending money on our trucks and invest some cash in a beast like this!
