Default Intake manifold swap

I'm sure there are some threads about this already but I haven't came across any yet so if someone could give me a link to start me in the right direction that would be great otherwise any info would be great! I have an lq4 6.0 in my 4x4 2500hd and I just got done putting on my TSP longtube. I'm looking to do an intake upgrade next. My research so far has shown that you cant beat the stock long runner truck intake. Does anyone have any other knowledge? The reason I decided to pursue this is I was recently given an ls2/ls3 bbk 92mm cable driven throttle body for free but obviously it work on my 3 bolt truck intake. Does anyone make an aftermarket long runner intake that has mounting for throttle cables and 4 bolt throttle body? Or are there any other swaps that work well on these trucks? I've looked in to the ls6 intake swap (which is also 3 bolt so it doesn't let me utilize my new throttle body) but the gains seem to be minor and it's a fairly complex swap due to the lower profile of the intake. If anyone has any knowledge or ideas I would really appreciate it! Thanks

Many of the gen 3 guys upgrade to a NNBS/TBSS truck intake for the improved design and small gain in power with a proper tune.

Personally I see no reason to install that throttle body if you can't come close to outflowing the stock unit.

Arent the nnbs intakes set up for drive by wire? Are there any threads about the swap?

I think if you get TBSS intake you can find a bracket or make one. Heres a thread about it
