Default Duramax tuning

Ive got an '07 4dr 4wd GMC dually classic Duramax. It is currently getting 9 to 10 mpg pulling a trailer. Im thinking about putting a banks 6 gun bundle on it, will thins improve the mpg??

It might but i wouldnt waste your money. There are a lot better/ cost effective tuners out there that will give you more MPG and towing power. What do you want? Towing power/economy -- OR -- Big power ***** out? I reccomend PPE programers. They have an awesome tow safe tune with Good MPG and the ability to put a higher tune in and get gobs of street power, but other mods will need to follow .

wanting to make it a little funner when its not on a trailer, but good economy when towing. Like to do bigger exhaust and intake, just the cold air type intake. It just didnt get the mpg I thought it would pulling the trailer. We are going to be going all over the states this summer and wanted make the fuel cost not hurt as much. Just mainly the easy bolt on stuff.

You dont need a new intake. These flow great. and heres a 2nd vote for PPE --- I put a PPE on mine and went from 16.5 on stock tires running 80 to 16.5 running 80 on 33s. If I keep it under 70 I get about 18-21 on the highway. I havent really towed anything with it yet so I cant tell ya about the mileage while towing. I went with a MBRP 4" and its quiet, almost sounds stock, but it does flow better for sure.
