2001 2500hd 6.0l with issues
i have a 2500hd with the 6.0 4x4 crew and i have changed the fuel pump ,fuel filter, ignition coils, plug wires, plugs, throttle pos sensor, idle air sensor, mass air, emptied the cats, changed the muffler, and the coolant temp sensor and it still feels gutless it will fall on its face if you try to take off from a stop sign at full throttle help

Have you had your injectors cleaned? Maybe the O2 sensors checked out? How about a tune to wake it up? Have you changed all your fluids? Have you serviced the tranny? It maybe just time for a valve train upgrade, cam, and headers. Frustrates me motors get to this point. Just shooting out some ideas. Good luck

How many miles on the motor? What is your fuel pressure? Key on, engine off. Does it hold pressure? Or does it bleed off rapidly. What is the pressure, engine running? |
Was there a check engine light???
What are you using for a scan tool??? When did this problem start??? |
i have changed every fluid on the truck even the rearend oil 200000 miles on it and i know it going to lose so of its youth at that milage but it just started running worse here recently i had put on some coils from accel and i think i got the wrong ones because my check engine light came on with a misfire on all 8 coils when i fire it up so im changing back to stock to get rid of that i did start off with a simple tune up and i just started swaping parts but im now at the end of that rode theres no to much else i can change

pull the injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested
