The banks are offset because of how the rods connect to the crank, one is in front of the other so the banks are offset basically the amount of the rod bearing width

Great job on the build. You may want to put some 4.10 or 4.56 gears in it to help wake it up off the line as 1at gear is really tall. Especially if you get bigger tires.

Thanks! It has 4.10 gears..im thinking of gping 4-6 inches of lift with 33's. I dont want to.over do it with 35s and ruin my gearing.

Amen. If you go 35's you will want at least 4.56s. Good work there.

I have done it! Haha! I got the cam bearings installed. After a dismal failure with ch25 that according to durabond will fit. Texas Speed informed me that they do not. Went with ch23 and they went in like butter..well maybe not like butter but more like margirine thats been in the freezer...it pays to have the right tool for the job. A sidw note for anyone attempting this, the #4 and #5 go in from the back..the housing is tapered in the oppisite direction.

Notice the taper on 4 facing rearward..if you look at 3 the taper is not there..its facing foward

bores are deglazed via flexhone wich i highly recommend. Now once i double check all the clearances i can assemble and install! Cant wait!
