I took my 10 yo son shooting for the first time earlier this week. I had already considered buying him a rifle for Christmas as that is part of the reason I took him. I don't have the cash to spend $250 plus so I went to the local pawn shop trying to find him a .22. They had this HMR .17 and it had a composite stock like he wants so I picked it up.


It is in like new condition and got it for $150. I think I got a good deal on it and he should be crazy about it Christmas morning. Does anyone have one of these and any advice or info I should know about it? Thanks!
