First 3D print 1911
#4
I worked with a guy that was a former Rocketdyne employee. He told me years ago that they had a 3D printer that could print an object starting with one kind of material and by the time you got to the other end of the part it could be another. So you could print a part started in steel and end in aluminum. The general public is only beginning to see the potential of 3D printing
