Went out to the lease this weekend to do some scouting and found tons of rubs everywhere including this one from a pretty good size buck. Last year my dad got a real nice one so I'm hoping to track down the one responsible for this one.

It shoots 308 caliber bullets

It's a 300blk that my dad bought with a few tweaks from me. I'm "borrowing" it to do load development and use til I finish building my own. Pretty fun to shoots subsonics out of with the can on the end.

Yeah, hes the dominate axis in our area, never been able to be at the same place at the same time but the axis went into rut a couple weeks ago and it takes a pretty good size animal to make the size rub. I haven't seen that buck on the camera since he dropped his horns but Im hoping hes still around and the big rubs Ive seen lead me to believe hes still hanging around.
Name the date, youre welcome to come down whenever you want. During the off season Ive basically got 1800 acres to myself out there. Cant promise youll shoot a big boy but all axis meat is the ****
Judging from the camera pics hes pretty good size. Hes a bit bigger than the one my dad shot in January
