spikes lowers are the ****! MegaArms has some awesome billets for a great price, so does SOTA, theirs are pretty nice for the investment involved.

is that a PRS stock? if so, how do you like it? I'm considering putting one on my next build but worried about the length of pull as I like it set pretty long (usually use the longest setting on most adjustable)

whatever you do stay away from Anderson lowers... they're cheap and some people buy them just because of that, but I've seen nothing but trouble out of them.

I've never had an issue with an Anderson lower, and neither have people I know that have used them.

A lot of new AR owners/builders buy them because they're cheap, and they "have issues" because they're idiots that don't know what they're doing and probably have issues tying their shoes too.

I've had two in my hands and neither of them was worth a ****, the grip screw on neither of them was either A: drilled deep enough to use, or B: tapped for a screw period. One of them the trigger and hammer pin holes were over sized and the extension threads were wrong thread and pitch on that one also.

They are notorious for poor and inconsistent coatings.

You get what you pay for, and when you buy a $39 lower, just remember what you are buying and what you are going to be using it for.

Just knocked out the first build. It was easy considering I only had to build the lower. I'm sure the upper is a lil tougher but overall it was a good time and I got to down some beers while building!
