Mine went thru several iterations. The upper was a custom done by Marty at Teppo Jutsu. Teppo Jutsu - "Art of the Rifle" - Advanced Firearms Applications
Initial as a pig gun...
Then some changes with a coffin guitar case that was modified...
Then out of the AWB era...
Here's the handloads. They turned out a little hot. :O
And this is a video, not me but my upper on an FA lower...

I'm not a big fan of serial numbers, so I am pushing the Poly lowers. I have a 80% lower on a 7.62 x 39 with a 16" govt profile barrel. It's got a tone of kick as ARs go, but the lower handles it without issue.
Currently building an AR-10 chambered in 260 Rem. again, on a poly lower.
I also have two other lowers floating around that I think I'm going to make pistols out of, or maybe a .22LR trainer.

Im' looking into building a AR. Been looking at some kits on palmetto state armory i'm thinking about going with a 16" barrel with 1/7 twist. Kit is around 470 and the stripped lower is 80. Not bad considering you can get a cheap rifle from the store for about the same price and you actually get to put this one together
