Default WOT shift RPM vs shift SPEED

what makes the computer pick one over the other? I have my WOT shift rpm set at 6100, it is choosing the speed I guess and still shutting off bad in the shifts. I'll make a log here shortly and post the tune also, I'd appreciate any input at that time, there has to be something stupid that I'm over looking.

Part throttle is mph based. For WOT, mph must be met first, then rpm comes second.....unless something isnt configured right in the tune and it will act goofy or not shift when you expect it to.

That makes sense, I just have the WOT shift MPH set to high then.

I fought with that for a while in my truck. It was something else, that should have suck out like a sore thumb that I was over looking.
I'm been so busy with work lately I haven't messed with my tune any, but they opened a station that sells e85, and I think I can tell a slight performance gain with e85 vs 87 octane even though I haven't touched fuel or spark tables for e85.
I plan to do some logging/adjusting in the near future. I'll try and remember to look and see what I figured out with the shift issue.
If it's doing what mine was, you could go wot, and it would never shift, but if you lifted in the slightest, it would shift, and bark the tires on 1-2, and 2-3

There is a different spark table when you are using a certain percentage of E85. When that percentage of ethanol is reached it will revert to the E85 table. So basically if you have 1/4 tank of gas and fill up with E85 the ethanol content will be lower than 85%, but still use the table.

The shifting is determined by a few different factors. There is a part throttle table that will shift at different speeds depending on throttle position. When the throttle position reaches a certain percentage it will be considered to be WOT and will need to trigger a speed and RPM before the shift is commanded. In my opinion you are better to set your WOT speed and RPM shifting, then ramp your part throttle table up to that speed.

with E85 ( a full tank of it, not a mix ) there is a MAJOR difference performance wise compared to regular 87 even on stock tuning there was an unbelievable difference.

Lowered the WOT shift MPH 5 MPH on all shifts and didn't touch anything else and took it out for a run and holy ****, that's MONEY!! When these '14s pull through the shift with a good converter and opened exhaust they sound just sick
