I have a 03 silvarado 2500hd WT with the 6.0 in it. I have burned this pcm a few times and now the only way I can program it is to remove the pcm and use my off board set up. I can scan it just fine but I cant tune the PCM while its in the truck using the truck harness. Everything else works fine on the truck other then the tuning.

Do you have an aftermarket radio? Does it have any add-on modules like door chime, steering wheel controls,etc?

If you do or it does,try disconnecting the radio.

yes I do have an aftermarket radio with the chime module. I read something about that and they said to pull the radio fuse. So I pulled the fuse and it still wont take a tune? I'm thinking about ust cutting the class 2 wire from the radio harness?

Unplug your harness from the factory harness and try and flash it.

it was the radio interface for the aftermarket radio. I had to bypass it so the radio is on full time and has to be shut off with the button on the radio. I will run a wire over to the fuse box and tap into a switched fuse at a later date to run the radio.
