That's dangerous. You're telling the PCM that your VE table is right and it won't make any fueling adjustments during a lean condition.

With closed loop enabled, the o2's are able to compensate for a lean condition.

Yes but first i need to tune ve for the new cam by using this tutorial on wideband tuning.Speed Density Tuning using Wideband O2 Input by William Henn, 'foff667'

I cant see your tune because I'm on my work computer, but Make sure your Map is wired correctly and scaled correctly. I did this same thing and the 3 bar wiring is different than the stock map. I think it's the center wire is switched. Thing would die and barely run in drive but idled ok

It does have the zr1 map sensor along with conversion harness. I also scaled it for this map sensor. I did put the stock one back on but the problem was still present so i put the zr1 back on.

I won't knock Bill's how-to but most people are going to tell you to leave closed loop enabled and get the STFT's as close as possible and then tune WOT.

It's dangerous the way you have it as there is no compensation for a lean condition. READ - if you get bad fuel, your PCM can't adjust fueling to compensate for it.

You can't use that method unless you are absolutely certain the wideband O2 output matches the narrowband O2 in all operating ranges. Otherwise once you re-enable closed loop and LTFT, your O2 feedback discrepancy will get absorbed by long terms. That method is actually best used when staying in open loop.

Injector data is wrong. Idling at 14.7 and going full lean in gear is a indication that your transient fuel needs to lowered. If your logging your injector pulse width at idle what's it at?

Spray starting fluid around places that can leak vacuum being careful not to spray air inlet .... if the engine revs up a little, there is your leak.
