Default Strange A/C problem

Guy's got a funny issue, the truck is 2000 rcsb 5.3, boltsons, camshaft, the a/c want cycle at idle, as soon as you start down the road it's fine, at start up the truck will surge like it's searching for idle or for the a/c to cycle, you can hold the throttle around two grand and it will cycle until you let off and then same crap until it holds a constant idle for a while, also when ur going down the road when it's cycling sometimes it'll lug the **** out of the truck, new tps installed, still no help, when the truck was first tuned it was cooler weather so we didn't run the a/c, sounds like it's in the tune to me? THANKS!

Sounds like you need to get your AC checked by a shop, not a tuner. Most likely not a tune issue.

what is your idle speed with ac on set at? this may sound weird but do you have any exhuast leeks or vacuum leaks that are affecting your idle? you may also want to increase your idle speed if you got a decent size cam
