Open header bro, hahaha. I really like how the Borla Pro X sounds on GM trucks.

Default New to stall...

What exactly does it mean when a stall "locks up"?

Its not the stall that locks up, its the clutch in the converter locking up... The stall is the speed the converter slips to before it engages....

So since my stall wasn't locking up I'm going to call yank to get a replacement. It still has a warranty so let's see what's happens.

If its still slipping on shifts(rev limiter), it's the trans not the converter lockup clutch. That said, it doesn't take much to fry the lockup clutch on a Yank, so low line pressure or locking it at WOT could do it in as well.

The transmission was rebuilt again and seems fine again but the stall still isn't locking up so I'm going to call Yank up. So yank sucks then ??? I thought they made awesome stalls. This is the SS 3,600 stall.

Its possible the issue with the trans which was probably low line pressure burnt the converter clutch.. Or depending on how its tuned may not feel it but i will say i can feel my circle d lockup.... Not another gear as stated but it will drop rpm about 3-400!!!

At this point I'd want to see the tune.

I'd bet my paycheck for a month that the trans tune isn't right. I'm not talking about just TCC lockup/release.

Should I keep the Yank SS 3,600 or go to a PI 3,800? Or maybe a circle D? What do you guys think?
