Default RPM surge

I've noticed lately that when I drive, cruising at about 35mph my RPMs surges
1/200. It doesn't speed up and slow down, just pulses the RPMs. This is at a steady pace for miles.

What could this be?

Thanks

Not much information, but sounds like a TCC lockup hysteresis is too small...

If you can pull your data stream and look at your map sensor and baro sensors and see if they are doing anything weird. Had a similar issue caused by a bad map sensor.

Hey Wolf,

Looks like I'll have to find a tuner.
I am not too savvy with computers, actually I suck with them. Trying to pull anything would end up getting me in trouble, haha.
I just moved and finding a local tuner was the first thing I brought up to a few coworkers. Thankfully there is one close by. I'll get his number and see if I can meet up with him.

Thanks man

Whered you move to? Didnt say tune it, lol! Just said put a scanner on it and see what youve got going on if you had one!!

My yukon surges sometimes too, but probably due to the fact that in the middle of trying to work the tune out, i got flooded and then changed jobs, then it threw a p0336 code and havent had a chance to replace my cam actuator yet... friday cant be here soon enough!!

We just moved out close to Atlantic Beach, NC from the Raleigh area.

Ooh gatcha, I thought pulling your data stream had some kind of tuning involved, hah.

Damn dude, sounds like you've had your hands full.

I bet
That's not bad at all, we used to drive 3+ hours to go to the beach, now its a ten minute cruise.
Not worried at all about hurricanes, we used to get them up north as well. Took down some pretty hefty trees right before your eyes. That'll be a concern when the time comes, until then we will enjoy it. This is a beautiful peaceful area and my wife and daughter love it.
