Please help with no start!!!!!
Just did a 6.0 swap in the place of my 4.8. For the most part it was easy and straight forward. The engine was a 05 model so I swapped my harness over to the engine and used my stock 4.8 computer and from what I've been told it should start right up.... It doesn't. It gets no fire to the starter. It won't make a sound. Now that being said the computer was disconnected for a week and so was the battery. Could it be the pass lock or vats or what??? The only connectors not connected is the oil sensor that was on my passenger side of the 4.8 oil pan as the 6.0 doesn't have the sensor and the egr plug as I put headers and block off plates then there is a small plug on the harness that leads to the A/C drier and down to the O2 sensors that isn't plugged to anything and I have no idea what it goes to. It's not very long just right on the passenger side. But I don't think that one plug would stop the thing from spinning over. I would understand it spinning and not firing but it won't even spin over!!! Please help. Thanks.

Security system would kill the fuel pump. Nothing to do with the starter.
You could swap out the starter relay with another matching relay under the hood. Recheck for loose connections in the battery cables & grounds. Double check to make sure you didn't over torque the nuts & crack the starter solenoid.
Did you have the transmission out? If so, check the park/neutral safety switch & harness as well.

I did have to unplug the trans as I swapped my stick harness onto the 6.0. I had to pull the black piece that goes on side of the trans off my stock one and swap it to the one i got with the 6.0 because the plug was different. It's the piece that the stud the shift cable attatches to passes thru.
