Default piggyback on obd1

Ok. So I have a 95' 4.3 5 spd s10. Its a standard cab short bed, anywho.. I'm wanting to put a nitrous kit on it but tuning an obd1 setup is a PITA! as a way around this I was looking into a piggyback system. Specifically the AEM FIC 6 system.. I have searched and have not come up with a definitive answer. Can someone help me out??
