I have a 2006 silverado with a cam. I had a p0641, p0522, and p0101 I checked all sensors and grounds gave up and took it to the shop they checked all sensors and ground and they swapped computers. Now I'm getting a p1518 reduced power and battery system not charging even though it is charging. I'm running an computer out of 03. Before I swapped computer it barely ran and would stall out now it will idle all around but *** soon as hit the gas it throws the p1518. Any help would be appreciated. And my tune has been copied to that computer

P1518 is not a valid code for a 06 OS. It is a valid code for a 03 OS. That says the shop you took it to doesn't know what they are doing and are trying to run a 06 ETC Pedal/TAC/TB on a 03 OS. You can't do that.

They asked me if I had a computer I could use to try and my tuner can tune 03s without buying credits so I figured 03/06 computer would work.... so would I have to get an 06 computer or will anyou other years work?

Or could I takeep the parts of the 03 parts truck and put them on my 06?
