Default Led head lights

Has anyone tried the led head lights? Thinking about installing these. Feedback would be great. Thanks

I installed some LED headlights in my GSX and 04 Sierra. Only been a few weeks, but they are bar none compared to my previous HID's or halogens... I wont go back.

Most are super hype in the specs and advertising and do not deliver, not even close.

Recently TRS began offering some drop-in LED replacements for halogen capsules, from Morimoto...that seem like they might actually be worth buying.

The ones OP posted though look like absolute garbage to me. Zero attempt at any optics, just a bunch of LED's throwing light out wherever it goes. If the goal is LED replacement of those large sealed beams (88-98 body style base model or work truck grille) then two companies have much better offerings that are direct fit, both Truck-Lite and Maxxima. They ain't cheap...

I've had cheap 60W bright white LED's in my wife's SRT8 charger fog lights for over a year with out one problem. They don't have a fan on the back of them and they look just as good as HID's. I bought LED's that where labeled blue first because I though they would be the HID blue. WRONG they where cop car blue. So just buy the ones that say bright white.

I did these 9006's and they were "OK" brightness. It's very easy to run into brightness issues because the advertised specs on them is total hype, B.S. The other big problem is they don't throw light the same way a halogen capsule does, so it's tough to get a good pattern out of them. Do they make a bunch of light come out of the housing? Yep...is it useful, that's another story.
