Default Brake lights

I have a 2000 silverado 1500. The rear passenger brake light doesn't work when the headlights are on. I've replaced the bulbs, sockets and still no luck

My buddy had the wiring harness go bad and had to replace the whole thing. I think it only runs the length of the bed

Could it also be any fuses? I've also have a similar problem i'm trying to track down on my 2001 single cab 1500. The passenger side rear taillight is my problem. I've swapped out all bulbs and also nothing. The brake lights work but not the running light. In the process of checking all of my fuses to see if that could be the culprit.
